The apartment building in Bancíkovej Street - finally conflict free project at Ružinov
Among the quantity of new buildings, by which Bratislava Ružinov is literally pockmarked, there are only few of those who do not wake disapproval of adjacent surrounding. Thickening (in socialist terminology „intensification“) of elderly housing estates on the one hand represents a logical continuation of the existing environment urbanization by supplementing the incomplete build-up and increasing its city-creation ability through implementation of multifunctional objects, on the other hand, poses a serious impact to the environment of original residents. Therefore, after years of natural and unrestrained construction raised to acephalous wave the resistance in the form of civil petitions recently crowned here with partial success from time to time. It sounds just incredible that along with such controversial projects (for a cease-fire we rather abstain from their nominal citations), there are still examples of those that become fit for the concerned place and bring benefits at every point.

In the flood of competing projects it effects even like cliché. In which aspect is the new building in Bancíkovej Street in the municipal district Bratislava – Ružinov unmistakable and idiomatic?
