Považská Bystrica: motorway will supposedly be completed by the deadline

Construction of the highway through Považská Bystrica is progressing according to plans and cars would run on it in June 2010. Builders are thus to comply with the deadline for the stage Sverepec-Vrtižer putting into service – May 2010. Prime Minister Robert Fico told it after inspection. As he stated, the final price of the highway may be lower than expected, since using new technologies for its construction. He did not specify possible saved money. A part of the almost 10-km stage is one kilometre long elevated road over the centre. It will rise at the height of 22–35 m. The motorway price is on the level of 300 million Euro.
