UniCredit Bank wants after R1 to finance also D1 construction from PPP

UniCredit Bank is interested in sharing with other banks also in financing the construction of 5 stages of D1 motorway between Martin and Prešov in the length of 75 km, confirmed its general director Jozef Bárta. He considers closing the D1 project financing in the scheduled term till February 15 as a key matter. It wants as a group to support implementation of further PPP project in substantially higher volume than in case of the smaller project of the R1 speed highway. UniCredit Bank rendered to Slovak Motorway Company the credit in the amount of 18 mills. € to finance preparatory works. The first of three packages of the PPP motorway projects is concerned.
