Building production in Slovakia increased the most from the EU members in November

Slovak building production increased by 13,7 % in November, this is the highest month-on-month growth in the EU. Building industry in the entire EU fell month-on-month by 0,6 % according to EUROSTAT information after seasonal adjustment. Within countries where data is available, the highest month-on-month growth following Slovakia occured in Portugal (4,1 %), and Romania (2,9 %). The highest month-on-month drop occured in Slovenia (4,5 %), Spain (3,5 %) and Bulgaria (1,9 %). The year-on-year building production in the EU went down by 6,7 % in November and by 8 % in the Eurozone. The highest decline was recorded in Romania (24,4 %), Bulgaria (22,5 %), Slovenia (18,1 %) and Spain (16,5 %). Slovak building construction dropped by 11,5 % year-on-year.
