Petr Urbánek leaving Europolis
The long-term director of the Czech “branch“ of the property company Europolis, Petr Urbánek, is leaving the company. He as well as Europolis are mainly connected to the River City Prague project on Prague´s Karlín quay. It was created during the 1990´s and today it comprises a complex of the administration buildings Danube House (2003), Nile House (2005) and Amazon House (2009) where special emphasis is on the energy efficiency. Europolis Real Estate Asset Management entered the project in 1998 in order to finally take the key buildings in the River City project under its wings.
Europolis is a member of Volksbank group which undertakes property investments, their finacing and property management. It concentrates on the Central and Eastern Europe territory where it currently owns assets amounting to EUR 2 bill. in 45 projects.
