Ivan Karfík strengthened the DLA Piper team
The international law office DLA Piper team has been expanded by Ivan Karfík, 36, who will be working for the Prague office in the real estate group. Before joining DLA Piper, he participated in founding the law office Achour & Hájek and previously he worked at American law offices Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and White & Case. He has been working in the field of real estate practically since he started his career. He represented large investment companies and funds and international property developers. He graduated from Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and he is a member of Association for Real Estate Market Development (ARTN) including its “Legislation“ working group. He is the co-author of the expert study Trend Report 2010 and the author of Trade Centre Lease: The Pan-European Survey. He speaks English and his hobbies include trekking and Japanese gardens.
