Karlín Group sold two projects to Z. Bakala
Company Karlín Group signed a contract with Zdeněk Bakala regarding the sale of former industrial sites known as Karlínská hala and Šípkárna. This is the sale of the most significant historic industrial buildings in Karlín in Prague 8. The negotiations were carried out by Serge Borenstein on behalf of Karlín Group and Bessel Kok on behalf of Zdeněk Bakala. The company Karlín Group will co-operate with Mr Bakala on the reconstruction of the buildings as the project manager and they will thus make use of their extensive experience in the development of Karlín. Realization of the planned construction is scheduled to start as soon as possible and the result of it should be 17,000 sqm of administration areas. The revitalized industrial halls should become headquarters of the publisher Economia and Luxury Brand Management Group in the future. The architectural transformation of the halls will be entrusted to Ricardo Boffil´s architectural studio. Bofill has already implemented a number of successful projects in co-operation with Karlín Group. The reconstruction of the Karlín halls will interconnect the overall revitalization of the block among the streets Thámova, Pernerova and Šaldova, implemented by Karlín Group and it will create a parallel with the new administration complex Corso Karlín, Corso IIA and B. Completion of the reconstruction of Karlínská hala and Šípkárna is scheduled for mid-2012.
