The new recreational centre will accrue in the town in autumn
The new recreational centre AquaRelax ought to be open at Dolný Kubín in autumn. Presently the first stage of building-up is being finished, which ought to contribute to the travel trade development at Orava. The centre is growing-up on the locality of former town swimming place; basic stone was laid on July previous year. The building-up is divided into three stages. Till now approximately one million Euro has been invested. There will be built-up interior pools, sauna worlds, fitness studio, restaurants and relax garden, relax rooms, wellness and restaurant services in the AquaPark. The project investor is the Dolný Kubín town via the Aqua Kubín, s.r.o. the general contractor of the first stage is Oraving, spol. s r.o. from Dolný Kubín. 30 new jobs would be established by the new centre construction in the centre and other will be established in consequent services of travel trade. The AquaPark will use heated water from ecology sources – from the town water main using biomass, solar collectors and waste heat recovery from air-handling equipment. On January 22–25 the AquaRelax Dolný Kubín will introduce itself at a fair of travel trade ITF Slovakiatour.
