Bratislava offices achieved 1.162 mills m2 at the end or last year

The capital of SR disposed of office rooms involving the entire area of 1.162 mills m2 at the end of year 2008. It results from the data of the Bratislava Research Forum (BRF), which is composed of three consulting companies, namely Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis and Colliers International. As BRF informed moreover, 60 % of the offer is consisting of office rooms in standard A and the rest in standard B. Since the beginning of last year 176.7 thousand m2 of new office rooms has been finished.

During last quarter of last year transactions involving the area of 63.7 thousand m2 were closed, what presents the increase by 46.6 thousand m2 compared with previous quarter. Direct businesses presented 60 % of all transactions, where the largest ratio had the Slovenská sporiteľňa central. „Transactions of companies from financial and bank sectors dominated at the market followed by sectors of production and building services and sector of professional services,“ BRF informs in its report. Measure of no occupancy increased and achieved 8.9% in the 4th quarter of last year, whereas it presented 8.1% in the third quarter. The lowest measure of no occupancy was in 1st and 5th Bratislava district according to BRF.
