Petržalka gave “green” to green routes

Bratislava Petržalka gave „green“ to the green routes – public routes for bicyclists and ski liners, but also for walking or recreational run. Till two years two new routes ought to be build-up from grant money and Euro funds. The first project with the length of 2.5 km counts on connection of Petržalka from the railway station through Kopčianska to the route directed to Austria village Kittsee at price of about 423 thousand Euro. The second with the length of 4.1 km at price of 111 thousand Euro ought to enlarge the existing network of routes by Dolnozemská cesta. Other routes and their connection are planed for the period of 5 to 7 years according to the approved conception of building the so-called Greenway. The conception counts on 4 radials from north to south, it means through Dolnozemská and Kopčianska Streets, as well as Chorvátske rameno and the Danube bikeway. They ought to be connected by three junctions Kutlíkova – Bratská, Starohájska – Rusovská and Orechová Streets from east to west of the city district.
