In Bratislava is 1 500 finished vacant apartments

In Bratislava development projects increased the number of completed vacant apartments by 700 to the current 1 500 over the past 6 months. Saleability of completed projects decreased from 82% to 63% thanks to them. An average price per m2 decreased by 140 Euro to 2 271 Euro. The price of apartments under construction fell to 2 196 Euro per m2 and currently are almost 3 000 apartments for sell. This results from statistics of the project Nové byty na bývanie (New Apartments for Housing). „From the long-term point of view it can be expected that around 2 500 completed vacant apartments could be on the market by the end of 2010,“ said his manager Peter Gerek.
