Building of the horse railroad in Nové Mesto will be refurbished
The building of the first horse railroad in Bratislava at the corner of Krížna Street near Trnavské Mýto in Bratislava Nové Mesto expects reconstruction. Secretary to Mayor of the Nové Mesto district Alžbeta Klesnilová confirmed this fact. The building was repurchased by the local self-administration from Woodimex, s.r.o. for EUR 1 150 000. Apart from the building, the price included also the plot under this historical cultural monument. The city district plans to build wedding hall here and a gallery. The building could be used for ceremonial purposes too. Elaboration of this project should be started in nearest future. “Some parts of the building must be drained as they are water log,” said Klesnilová. Repairs will however, need changes in the budget, which must be approved by MPs. As from the reserves fund have been set aside only money for the building.
