Central Group: prices of flats to grow next year

According to D. Kunovský, owner of Central Group, the prices of residential properties in the Czech Republic will not decline any more; conversely, they will start climbing as of the beginning of 2010 at an average rate of five percent a year. However, the price increase will depend on specific types of housing and on locations. In spite of the proclaimed price growth next year, Kunovský announced that Central Group would maintain the lower prices of some flats offered by his company in the long term; however, the company does not launch any new projects. Based on the findings of a survey conducted by Median, almost a third of the population wants to buy a flat, house or piece of land in Prague.
