Kaufland to have another shopping centre in Bratislava

The retail chain Kaufland will probably have another shopping centre in Bratislava. The new Kaufland supermarket will be located in Mlynská dolina. Roxy Invest, future investor of the building, submitted investment plan for environmental assessment. The construction of EUR 6.8 million will start in mid-2011 and will be completed half a year later.

The shopping centre will cover an area of more than 20 thousand sqm, built-up area will be nearly 6 thousand sqm. Kaufland supermarket near the Bratislava ZOO will provide more than 3,800 sqm of sales area. The company Kaufland operates 42 hypermarkets in Slovakia. The last ones were opened in Trebišov and Kežmarok.
