Cohousing at CaféInfo
On Tuesday 18th January, at the CaféInfo café, located on the site of the planned residential project Zåhrada (Garden) in Lysá nad Labem, a discussion meeting was held for those interested to learn more about the Zåhrada project as well as cohousing itself. The meeting was attended by the architect Michal Šourek, author of the main idea and concept of Zåhrada. Most visitors were surprised at by information on underground parking, courtyards with a clubroom for joint meetings, gazebos, fireplaces but at the presence of an intranet network with a wide range of services. Most simply didn´t study the project website sufficiently to obtain this information. Journalist Tomáš Hajzler (together with architect Veronika Bešťáková) presented interesting domestic as well as foreign experience and views on the subject of cohousing.
