Building industry of EU dropped by 6.7% compared with previous year
December building production cleaned off from season point of view dropped by 6.7% in the whole Europe compared with previous year according to the Eurostat data the Statistic Office of EU. December production in Euro zone decreased by 10.1% compared with previous year. In months comparison building production of EU decreased by 1.7 %. It decreased by 2.2% in the Euro zone compared with previous year. December production increased by 10.3% in the building sector of SR compared with previous year according to Eurostat. So Slovakia was on the 2nd place in the frame of EU. But its building production decreased by 0.1% on the month basis compared with previous month. Among member states Romania (16.1%), Slovakia (10.3 %) and Poland (5 %) achieved the biggest increase. In contrary the biggest drop was recorded in Spanish (23.7 %), Swedish (19.6 %) and Portugal (6.2 %) compared with the same month of previous year.
