Bratislava intends to start repairing roads and pavements
The SR capital intends to renew the road infrastructure at price above 9.5 millions Euro this year. The repair concerns the most loaded roads, local communications and pavements, ground stations of MHD or canalisation inputs. „Unfortunately, it is minimally 15-year debt. It was caused by under financing and shortage of sources for sanitation of the Bratislava communication network, “Ján Zachar, the deputy of the municipal council director, told.
If it is necessary, the city wants to co-ordinate terms of the repairs with the planned repairs of roads under its administration. One of the planned priorities is to repair 7 extremely loaded arteries of traffic. Pražská, Stromová, Limbova, Šancova, Mýtna, Ružinovská and Mickiewiczova Streets are concerned. The city plans repairing the roads from June 15 till October 30, 2009. The most difficult works will probably be in Limbová Streets by A. Ďurkovský, the city major. „There are slopes and curves there. We will pay substantial technical requirements in order the surface would be plate, smooth and safe, “he told.
