Bratislava: the investor is threatened by the penalty due to the amphitheatre demolition
The investor – Apollo Arena, is threatened by the penalty of 13 270 € for the illegal demolition of the amphitheatre in Drotárska Street in the Bratislava Old City. Currently, the Old City building authority is deciding on the amount of the penalty; the result could be known in coming days. On April 07 representatives of Apollo Arena attended the procedure on the administrative offence, where they explained why demolished beyond the demolition permission. "This permission only concerned the parts of the building damaged by the fire in last year's April. At the same time they notified that they requested the Building Office in writing two days before the procedure so as to order immediate works due to urgent need to remove the danger of injury, "clarified A. Kopřivová, the spokeswoman of the municipal district. In the presence the role of the Building Office is to evaluate all the information obtained and decide on the amount of penalty for the administrative offence, which the client committed by this action.
