A third of the money to support the thermal insulation has already spent
The State Housing Development Fund has granted to candidates an interest-free loan under the state support program for thermal insulation totally 21, 238 million Euro. The Fund assessed 90 of a total of 284 applications received since the beginning of July. The government allocated a total of 71 million Euro for the state support program for thermal insulation. According to information provided by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development Linda Vaškovičová to SITA, the total amount of credits required by candidates reached 59, 598 million Euro. The State Housing Development Fund has the period of 60 days to assess and evaluate applications. The program of thermal insulation may involve natural and legal persons, who may apply for an interest-free loan with a maturity of more than 15 years of full refinancing of eligible construction costs. Earmarked funds under the program would help thermal insulation of 18 – 25 thousand residential units according to the Ministry of Construction information.
