Holiday Inn hotel Trnava to be opened in September
A four-star congress hotel Holiday Inn Trnava is to be opened on 1st September 2010. Its main features will include variable congress halls for 800 and 150 persons and its position in the historical centre of Trnava. The hotel will have 102 rooms with an ambition to become the centre of congress tourism in Western Slovakia. It will operate under the name of Panorama Športhotel, which is also the owner of the business hotel Holiday Inn Žilina. “The strategy of both hotels is to attract congress tourism to other developed industrial regions apart from Bratislava, which Žilina and Trnava definitely are,“ says Jozef Mihalik, head of the company board of directors. The Holiday Inn brand belongs to Intercontinental Hotels Group – the largest hotel chain in the world.
