Last year´s construction output declined by 4.7 %

Construction output fell yoy by 4.7 % to EUR 5,535 billion last year. In December 2010 construction entities reached the output of EUR 467.4 million, which was at the same level yoy. After seasonal adjustment, it fell by 4.6 % compared to November, Slovak Statistical Office informed. Production of domestic [Slovak] construction companies grew yoy the third consecutive month. It increased by 1 % to EUR 456.8 million. Its share on total construction output increased by 0.9 per cent to 97.7 %. New construction including modernization and reconstruction was 80.9 per cent. Production carried out by construction companies abroad fell yoy by 29 % to EUR 10.6 million in December.
